We would like to update our community on the current status of the Liberec Economic Forum 2023 (LEF 2023) conference proceedings in the Web of Science – Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI).
Where things stand
- 10 Oct 2023 – Submission initiated: The publisher (Faculty of Economics, TUL) formally submitted LEF 2023 proceedings for CPCI evaluation and provided all required materials.
- Nov 2023 – Mar 2025 – Follow-ups: We remained in contact with Clarivate’s Editorial Relations to monitor progress, confirming that all 26 CPCI criteria were addressed by the publisher.
- 18 Mar 2025 – Awaiting decision: Clarivate informed us the volume was in the editors’ evaluation queue.
- 16 Apr 2025 – Accepted for CPCI: Clarivate confirmed the LEF 2023 proceedings were accepted for indexing in CPCI.
- Post-acceptance – Processing delay: Clarivate notified us of an internal technical issue that delayed transfer of the accepted volume into the live Web of Science product.
- 12–15 Sep 2025 – Escalation: Clarivate’s Content Curation team escalated the case internally to expedite processing. A subsequent automated reply referenced a generic “publisher-only” workflow; we have reconfirmed that the Faculty of Economics, TUL, is indeed the publisher of record.
- 17 Sep 2025 – Clarification requested: We asked Clarivate to confirm whether any additional action is required from our side. We are currently awaiting their confirmation while the internal processing continues.
What this means for authors
- Your LEF 2023 papers have been accepted for CPCI indexing.
- The proceedings are pending final technical processing by Clarivate before they appear in the live Web of Science database.
- No further action is required from authors. We will publish an immediate update as soon as the record goes live.
